Jim Souza

For 30 years, James (Jim) Souza has had a career in Engineering using composites, beginning in the Aerospace and Defense Industry with the last 15 years in the Oil & Gas Rehabilitation Industry. He has held positions including Manufacturing Manager, Engineering Manager and Senior V.P. of Operations. He currently resides as the Director of Technology and V.P. for Pipe Wrap LLC. Throughout his career, Jim has been involved in development teams for products such as Composite Drill Pipe utilized by the Amoco Slim Drill Technology, Drillable Casing for Sperry Sun & Halliburton and Telescoping Antenna Mast for the US Military. With a strong emphasis in material science, Jim is a co-inventor on several patents related to the structural reinforcement or corrosion mitigation devices for piping systems and has additional patents pending. In addition, Jim is on the subcommittee for ASME PCC-2.

 

Casey Whalen

Casey serves as our lead material engineer, supporting our Pipe Wrap business through engineering design, new product development, customer solution prototyping and large-scale testing programs. In addition, he has led several process improvement projects to create a better defined product offering and overall customer experience. Casey serves on the ASME PCC-2 committee board, helping to influence the future of the organization. He received a Bachelor and Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.
